ABOUT THE PTO
If you are new to our school, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome each of you and your families to our wonderful district.
Our PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a community of parents, caregivers, administrators, and educators who are passionate about giving our children the best education experience possible. We host various events throughout the year to help our fundraising efforts and to strengthen our community bond. Our PTO is a 501(c)(3) organization which means we have non-profit status. Contributions made to the PTO are tax deductible. All money raised goes back to Kalei’opu’u Elementary School.
You are officially a member of the PTO by virtue of having a child enrolled in our school.
PTO meetings are a great way to get involved in your child’s school. At our meetings, we go over upcoming events and receive updates from our administration. You will have a chance to ask questions and participate in discussions. Please check out the calendar or our Facebook page for our next meeting.
If you can't make it to the meetings, we welcome volunteers for events! We can always use the extra hands with fundraisers, holiday celebrations, family events and more! Please visit our volunteer page for more details.
